Happy November everyone! I know that Halloween just passed, but that doesn’t mean that I’ve had my fill of pumpkins yet! Eric and I visited the local pumpkin patch where I went annually growing up. We picked out some great pumpkins to decorate our front porch, including those adorable white baby boo’s! We sipped on some local pumpkin spiced beer (check out a great recipe here) and ate some delicious local delicacies, including pulled pork sandwiches, fresh mozzarella, crackers and jam and my absolute favorite, the cider doughnuts! We even took a quick detour up into the apple orchards to pick some pie ingredients right from the tree!
I knew we would be walking on gravel, up hills and through dirt on the chilly day we chose to go, so I made sure to dress appropriately! I threw on my favorite booties and a pair of gray jeans, which I LOVE! I also wore my comfiest cable knit sweater and my new favorite accessories, this plaid scarf and these super cute hand warmers. It was such a fun day! I will be sharing my Thanksgiving centerpiece on the blog soon, which will include some of the pumpkins we picked!
