Navy Stripes and Brown Accents

Everyone has that dilemma where they look through their closet and drawers and come to the conclusion that they have NOTHING TO WEAR! That is an absolute terrible feeling, and usually one that is soooo not valid. A lot of times when I feel like I have nothing to wear, it’s not a whole new outfit that I need, but rather a new piece here or there to freshen up my already awesome (and extensive) wardrobe.

This outfit is no different. I have had these jeans, this jacket and this bag for a while now. I absolutely love each piece, but after a while, how many different ways can you style something before you are blatantly repeating the exact same outfit. While this isn’t the end of the world by any means (everyone had that favorite outfit that they would wear on repeat everyday if they could) a new shoe or staple tank top could really do the trick to freshen up your wardrobe.

That is exactly what I did here. I have been looking for a good pair of peep toe mules and these cognac Steve Madden’s totally fit the bill. I also picked up this navy stripe tank top from Topshop for $30 (total steal!). It’s the perfect neutral tank to wear under any number of different jackets or sweaters.
