Hey ladies!! If you are like me, you are obsessing over NYFW! Whether you are here in NY or enjoying the fashion from afar, you are going to be in for an exciting weekend! I grew up just outside of NYC and still live within a short train ride of the city today. I also work in the city every single day, so I know first hand how exciting this time of the year is! Despite living in NY my whole life, this is going to be the first Fashion Week that I am attending in person…I know right?!

I am super excited to take you all on the journey with me, from rooftop launch parties and runway shows to studio events and blogger brunches, you will be able to follow my NYFW experience first hand on my social media! Make sure you follow my Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat (username: Suburbanreno) for real time updates! Also, you will be able to get all of my outfit details on LiketoKnowit!

As a native New Yorker, I can certainly say that dark neutrals are where it’s at! When I went into my closet to pick out my Fashion Week wardrobe, I ended up with 4 black outfits with minimal pops of color…oops! While I realize it is still summer (and it’s going to be 90 degrees all weekend) I just couldn’t see myself wearing anything other than black! Black crop tops, black leather, black dresses, black blazers and of course a gorgeous black Chanel purse! I will be sharing all of my Fashion Week looks, but until then I have compiled a few fun looks that are totally New York as well as some Fashion Week picks below! Check it out!
