Kitchen Transformation – Day 142

Dream Kitchen Renovation - Day 142

I can’t believe that our dream house renovation is coming to a close within the next month or so. The addition is fully functioning, the floors are in, cabinets are installed, appliances have arrived and …swoon… our marble countertops were installed yesterday!

We opted for medium wood floors to contrast the whites and grays we will have running throughout the house, both in fixtures and home decor. We went with white, inset, shaker style cabinets in the kitchen along with honed calacatta marble countertops. We knew we wanted to go with high end appliances and fixtures, so we went with Thermador and Bosch. Still yet to be installed is the custom vent hood and of course, our calacatta backsplash.

In the laundry room (not pictured) we did white, shaker style cabinets with white quartz countertops and the bar cabinets (also not pictured) are sporting a neutral gray with white quartz countertops as well.

How are you liking your Thermador fridge? We are in the midst of a kitchen renovation and considering that fridge, would love to hear what you think! Thanks!

Hey Natalie! We love it! The large freezer drawer is extremely handy and I love how wide the firdge is on the top. I will say that we usually have to lie our soda and seltzer bottles down on their side because they are a bit too tall for the shelves, but overall we are super happy with our choice! Happy to talk more if you have any other questions!

      xoxo, Kristen
