I just got back from a fun little getaway to Miami. One thing I love doing while I am lounging in the sun is reading a good book. I always have a book with me, whether it is while I am riding the train to and from work, travelling on work trips or relaxing at home. I was able to check out a few titles from Harlequin books, including The Lady from the Black Lagoon, which is the story of the first female animator at Disney. It walks through how her ideas for The Creature from the Black Lagoon was stolen by a male colleague and how she was eventually given the credit she deserved. I also snagged these adorable espadrille sandals, which are really comfortable and pair perfectly with all of the sundresses I wore in Miami and will be wearing as soon as the weather warms up here in NY. If you know me at all, you know that I am a sucker for a good massage! I try to go reasonably often because I have such tight muscles in my neck and back, mostly caused by carrying a heavy computer bag to and from work everyday and because I sit hunched in front of a computer all day. I have heard great things about Hand and Stone and I am so excited to finally have the chance to check out their services! If you are more of a facial type person, don’t worry, you can do that too! The best part is that you can take advantage of their introductory offer – which is $49-$59 (depending on location) for their Swedish massage! Such a great price for a nice and relaxing time!

How cute is this G Shock watch!? I don’t know about you, but I had the Baby G watch when I was in middle school and absolutely loved it! I am excited to sport this more sophisticated Navy and Rose Gold version now that I am an adult! They are perfect for those of you who are active and features water resistance, LED lights, up to 4 daily alarms, a stopwatch and a timer! I’m ready to hike a mountain and look good while I am doing it!

I know there are a lot of beauty products out there, but this cleanser from Knours is all natural and helps to keep your skin clear throughout the month. I know that I have the occasional breakout that I wish I could stop more quickly, so I am excited to see how this chemical-free cleanser works for me!

As always, as soon as the weather starts to get nice, Eric and I are sitting outside with music blasting and a cocktail in hand. This Lemongrass cocktail mixer is totally refreshing and is delicious when mixed with vodka! Give it a little shake in this copper mixer and add a bit of club soda for an even lighter and more refreshing spring cocktail! Bartender Eric will be making me this drink over and over again!
