Casual and Cool

Eric and I spent the weekend barbecuing, eating oysters and other delicious seafood with friends, and picking out new floors for our renovation (more on that later this week)! It was such a beautiful day on Saturday (not Sunday though…Sunday was torrential downpours…), so I went with this super cute and bright outfit when we went to brunch. I just got this Free People top (I got an XS because it’s flowy) and it’s such a great staple! I have been looking for any excuse to keep wearing my cognac mules and this outfit was no exception. I also threw in my fav Clare V. clutch for a fun pop of leopard.

Also, I wanted to give a mini review of the Kylie Lip Kit that some of you asked about on my last Instagram post and Snapchat. As you may know, these lip kits are sold out and only come back in stock for a few minutes before they sell out again. I am not a very patient person, so I took to the internet to figure out where else I could get the gloss. I ended up buying “So Cute”, which is a Nude shade with a hint of sparkle, and I really love it! The gloss is big, so it will last a really long time and it also smells really great! It’s similar to other glosses where it is a bit sticky, but it lasted a long time, even through brunch, when I wore it! I think you could probably find a gloss with a similar shade if you don’t want to spend the time or money waiting around for it though! I will link alternatives in my next blog post!
