The transition from winter to spring is usually a quick one here in the Northeast. One minute you are shoveling your car out of your driveway and the next you are hauling your patio furniture out of the garage! That is exactly what happened over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday hit the 60’s and the temps have been increasing ever since!
I was finally able to wear this adorable Lilac Lace dress, which has the cutest cut outs and ruffle skirt! This dress would be perfect for a bridal shower or spring wedding, but I also think that it is absolutely perfect for Easter! Throw a cute shawl over it and you are in business! The best part….this dress is on super sale right now!
Check out the details below!
Dress (Goodnight Macaroon) | Heels (similar) | Bag (here, here under $30) | Bracelets (David Yurman, David Yurman)
I received a bunch of questions on sizing for this dress, so I am including some extra information here. The material doesn’t have much give, but I am wearing an XS and I would say it fits true-to-size. The bottom wasn’t too snug on my hips, but note that the cutouts and the top panel make it so that it might be tough to wear a bra. Feel free to DM or Email me for any sizing question you have!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Easter!

Hi Kristen, this is such a cute dress! You look great in it! Would you mind giving me some pointers on the sizing? How tall are you? I am 5″6 and 120 lbs, thinking to get size S.

Hey Cheryl! Thanks so much for stopping by and for the kind words! With respect to your sizing question, I am an inch or so taller than you, but I think a Small would probably fit you well! The material doesn’t have much give, but I felt that it was pretty true to size, so if you are normally a Small, then I think that should work for you. Feel free to reach out again if you have any more specific questions!

I purchased this dress from you and already received it in the mail! 🙂 I read your blog about the top panel making it hard to wear a bra & I noticed the same thing when I tried on the dress. I just purchased an adhesive bra so I’m hoping that works b/c my strapless bra was visible from the bottom of the panel. Let me know if you have any additional tips!

Hey Elizabeth! Yes, the top is a little tricky, but I think an adhesive bra or even adhesive petals should do the trick! If not, maybe try sewing cups right into the top (if you have any sewing ability!) Thank you so much for the support!
