Spring has finally sprung and with the warmer weather comes wedding season! Since Eric and I got married back in 2013, our wedding schedule has been packed full of some of our best friends tying the knot! This past weekend was no exception, as we attended the wedding of two of my collegues from work.
Although we are friends with this couple outside of work, the only other guests we really knew were other work people…ie. I sat next to my boss and his wife (among others). Now, don’t get me wrong, I love the people I work with and this is obviously not the first time Eric and I have have socialized with them outside of work, but I definitely had to think long and hard about my outfit choice!
I wanted to make sure I stayed true to myself and wore something that I loved, but I had to ensure that it wasn’t too short, too tight or too revealing. I decided to stick with what I know and rented this amazing Parker dress from Rent the Runway. It had a high neckline and a ruffle skirt that hit just above the knee, but it was still fun, flirty and fit my personality perfectly! I styled with black accessories to highlight the black accents on the dress and was able to dance the night away!
As a side note, you will notice that these pictures were taken in our kitchen before we left for the wedding. It was raining the day of the wedding, so indoor photos were all we were able to manage….but, our remodel is almost done!! I will be doing a kitchen reveal as soon as our backsplash is installed and the finishing touches are finalized! I cannot wait to share!
