Eric and I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Chicago during a recent wedding that we attended. He is not usually one to want to take vacation days from work, but I have decided that if we are going to travel all over the place for weddings, we are going to get to know the cities we are visiting! We took off Friday and walked all over the city. We got to see some of the different neighborhoods in Chicago, including Lincoln and Wicker Park along with the usual tourist attractions like the Bean and Millenium Park. We also got a few brunch recommendations, which we jumped at! I am going to be rounding up some of the best spots in the city as well as a few of the most blog worthy brunch spots!
We could not get enough of the quaint streets in Lincoln Park, so after brunch on Friday, we took the opportunity to snap a few shots before heading over to the Zoo and some fun pubs. It was a little chilly, so pairing this denim jacket with my fav topshop tank (also seen here) was the perfect mix of spring and practicality! I picked up this bag at Goodnight Macaroon and it is the perfect Chloe dupe and absolutely gorgeous in person. I love it and plan to wear it everywhere! It’s actually pretty big and was able to fit 2 phones (yes 2), sunglasses, a small wallet and a few makeup essentials without bulging.
I also love this layered necklace from The Styled Collection that is under $35 and a total showstopper! If you don’t have this necklace yet…you need it! I paired this look with some fun beaded bracelets and these blush cutout booties for the perfect spring look!
