The Perfect Fall Athleisure Look

While Eric and I were in the Catskills, we took the time to hike to the top of Kaaterskill falls. As I have mentioned before, Eric is as outdoorsy as they get, so when we started dating, I had to really stretch my interest to include nature. Over our years together, I have hiked some of the tallest mountains in the Northeast with Eric, so a quick 1 mile roundtrip hike to see this gorgeous waterfall was well worth the effort! Ok…so I might have complained a little, but that is beside the point!

The entire hike was scenic, but the most breathtaking part was the top of the falls. I’ve seen waterfalls before, but to know that this one is right in our backyard in NY (2 1/2 hrs from where we live) is just amazing! Of course, I would not be me unless I was a bit fashionable, so I wore these leggings that Romwe was nice enough to send to me (c/o) along with my fav puffy jacket, a simple tank, some sunnies and my most comfy sneakers. To be honest, if Eric and I had known how rocky and slippery the terrain was going to be, we both would have swapped our sneakers for our hiking boots, but we made do with what we had.

The view of the waterfall as well as the view from the top of the waterfall looking out over the forest were so gorgeous and we definitely took some time to take it all in! Check out the details below!
