After a wonderful Christmas, Eric and I decided to plan an amazing trip up to Lake Placid for New Years Eve! Yes, the same Lake Placid that hosted the 1980 Winter Olympics…think Miracle on Ice! Starting in January, my work schedule gets a little crazy, so we went all in for a fun and relaxing trip! Keep an eye out for my Lake Placid Adirondack Travel Guide, because this is one mountain town you will want to visit! It snowed most of the time we were in town, so I was keeping it very warm and cozy in this gray wool coat & plaid cape! I also drank a ton of Hot Toddy’s to keep me warm as well!
On the first day that we arrived, the sidewalks were a little slushier than I had anticipated. Lucky for me, there is an EMS right in town and I bought these amazing plaid snow boots. I was really happy that they were warm and cozy and it didn’t hurt that they were really cute as well! I did plan ahead in terms of hats, scarves and gloves at least. Overall, we had the best time on our romantic mountain getaway!
