As many of you know, Eric and I renovated our home a few years ago and since then, we have been slowly furnishing (Living Room, Office)! I’ve had the opportunity to work with some great brands to make our house a home and was so excited when Ballard Designs reached out! The showroom at Roosevelt Field was getting ready for the 2nd Annual Home Design Showcase and wanted some help with promotion. Well, I jumped at the opportunity to work with a brand I love to furnish another little corner of our home! We already have a few pieces from Ballard Designs in our home, including the gold chandeliers that are in our Dining Room. I love the transitional vibes from Ballard Designs, so I knew we would be able to find some great items. We ended up furnishing our Bedroom Nook with Ballard Designs!
When we renovated, we ended up with a small foyer that connects our master bathroom, closet and bedroom. We always knew we needed a little something on the wall that faces the stairway so that when you walk up the stairs, you see a beautiful piece of furniture and/or art. Eric and I went to our local Ballard Designs showroom and worked with a wonderful designer to pick out some pieces that might work in our home. We were able to use computer software to put all of the pieces we liked together and then mix and match until we found a design that we loved. Everyone at the Roosevelt Field showroom was wonderful and our meeting went so well! We saw this beautiful chevron Orvieto console and knew it was the perfect piece for that space. We matched this beautiful piece of art and then added some neutral accessories to finish off the space.
