September has been such a crazy month for me and Eric. We have been traveling all over the place…between our family Labor Day trip to the Catskills, Fashion Week and our upcoming trip to Charleston to visit some friends, we are totally exhausted! I love jetting off (or driving off) on adventures with Eric, so I really don’t mind. With Fall now in full swing, I wanted to share this Sophisticated Fall Dress that is perfect for tons of different events. First, I love the sophisticated cut of this dress. It’s definitely short and would be classified as a mini dress, but the modest bubble top, boat neck and cap sleeves really keep it chic and even work appropriate. I could see pairing this with a blazer and wearing it to the office, to happy hour after work or even to a completely non-work event, like dinner or a cocktail party with friends.
This look can definitely transition to the cooler months by pairing it with tights and over the knee boots as well as styling it with sandals, like I did here. Another fun accessory are these tassel earrings. I pulled my hair back into a low pony-tail so that I could show off these statement earrings. They really give this seemingly simple dress a super fun and flashy focal point. This clutch (which also had a strap so it can be made into a crossbody) is really simple and versatile. I feel like I will be wearing it a lot with many different outfits, both casual and fancy. These shoes are definitely more on the Summer/Early-Fall side, but I love that they have a low, kitten heel, a little bit of snake print and a transparent strap. Overall, this is a super fun and affordable look for fall!
