Who doesn’t love a Cozy Boyfriend Sweater during the winter months? I don’t know about you, but I am that girl who curls up on the couch at the end of the night with flannel socks, an electric blanket, the fire roaring and a cup of hot tea. My husband can’t understand how I am always so cold when he is sweating. I imagine this happens to a lot of you ladies out there! When I am out running errands – getting my nails done, grocery shopping – whatever, I like to be as cozy as I would be while on my couch! To do that, I love wearing cozy staples like this sweater. CROSSBODY BAGS ARE THE PERFECT CASUAL ACCESSORY
Just like there is a shoe for ever occasion, there is also a bag for every one too. Clutches scream evening and formal, totes and duffels give you casual and weekender vibes and crossbody bags are the perfect happy medium. They work for a casual look like this one as well as an evening out at a nice restaurant. I purchased this bag during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a couple of years ago and I have continued to get my moneys worth every since. Not only is it a classic style that is still being sold today, but it is large enough to fit what I need, it’s a great length and the color is a staple neutral for any closet.
PLATFORM CHUCKS FOR SPRING
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times…you can’t go wrong with a pair of chucks! Towards the end of the summer, I was on the lookout for a pair of sneakers that were not only comfortable, but were cute too. I had a few options in mind, including a variation of the Golden Goose design. I tried a Golden Goose dupe that I liked, but it still wasn’t quite me. Why spend hundreds, when I could get a simple black and white, platform sneaker for under $60! When we visited Charleston over the summer, I wore these sneakers with a pair of shorts while we walked around and did some sightseeing. They were comfortable, even in the 100 degree heat, so they totally have my stamp of approval!
