Another season, another NYFW! As you all know, I have the unique ability to attend NYFW for next to nothing (aside from food and cabs) because I live just outside the city and crash on my sister’s pull out couch each year. While my back doesn’t love the accommodations (sorry sis!), my wallet definitely does! This year, I was super busy at my day job, so I wasn’t able to attend all of the weekday events I was hoping to. Juggling a full-time job with my passion for blogging can sometimes be hard, but I love having a passion project to occupy my free time! I decided that even though I couldn’t go to all of the shows and events, I was going to make the best of the time I did have. Most importantly, I wanted to make sure that I caught up with and enjoyed some time with some of the bloggers who have become great friends to me! We decided ahead of time that we wanted to do a group shoot in Soho, so I am going to be sharing that with you today along with my first outfit from NYFW February 2020 – Day 1!
Check out my first look from NYFW February 2020 – Day 1 below!

INVEST IN A STATEMENT JACKET
Living in NY, it is obvious that we spend a good chunk of time trying to stay warm. So why shouldn’t I invest in some amazing statement jackets?! This pink faux fur jacket is a show stopper! It really brings keeping warm in style to the next level! I can safely say that this is the ultimate cozy jacket! I also love the midi length, which will really add some drama and elegance to your look! I have linked a few options below, because this guy is selling out fast!
BLUSH NEUTRALS FOR ALL SEASONS
When I first shared these pants on Instagram Stories, you guys went crazy for them! I had so many questions about where to purchase them. Well, here they are, under $50 and selling out fast! I first styled them with a cute little white cropped tee and white pumps because I initially viewed them as more of a summer work pant. What I realized as I was outfit planning for NYFW is that these are way more versatile that I initially thought. I paired them with a cozy white oversized sweater and booties and voila…they worked for February! Don’t hesitate to think outside of the box. Just because a color may not seem to work for a particular season, it doesn’t mean you can’t style it in such a way that it does. Get creative!
