Hey Everyone! I wanted to share this great Pumpkin Spice Beer recipe with you as we go from summer into fall. If you are like me, then even before the leaves start to change, you have a six pack of this stuff in your fridge and a husband asking you to make him a fancy beer drink. This recipe is actually a lot less fancy than it looks and it’s delicious! …Even for a non-beer drinker like me (sorry to all of the beer enthusiasts out there!)
Eric and I were in the supermarket last weekend and he spotted his favorite fall drink, Harvest Pumpkin Spice beer. This drink, similar to his other favorite, the McDonald’s Shamrock Shake, is only around for about a month or two, so we piled a few 6-packs into our cart around all of the lettuce and vegetables (haha). Eric remembered having the pumpkin spice beer with a fancy sugar and cinnamon rimmed glass, so before I knew it, I was running around the store gathering ingredients for this delicious drink. You will need the following:
– 6 pack of Pumpkin Spice Beer (or more!!)
– A couple of Oranges
– Granulated Sugar
– Cinnamon
First, slice up the orange and use a wedge to wet the rim of the beer glass.
Then, mix equal parts sugar and cinnamon in a flat dish. Make sure you fully mix the sugar and cinnamon so that it is equally dispersed. Take the glass and dip the rim in the sugar/cinnamon so that the rim is fully covered.
Take the glass and dip the rim in the sugar/cinnamon so that the rim is fully covered. Then, just pour the beer and Enjoy! Happy Fall!!
