Today was one of the most exciting days in our renovation process yet. The walls for the first floor addition have gone up and the space is actually starting to look like a house! The crew has a few more walls to put up on the first floor and then they are knocking down the back wall of the existing house.
In preparation for that, we have to completely demolish the existing kitchen. We are planning to donate as much of the kitchen as we can, so Eric and I have taken on the responsibility of carefully removing the cabinets and working appliances. As much as we want to smash everything in the kitchen with a gigantic sledge hammer, we couldn’t justify doing that when everything was in relatively good condition. We will share those photos soon!
