One of my resolutions for the New Year is to really step up my blogging! With that said, I realize I am a few days late sharing my New Years Eve outfit…so I guess I have already failed! I’m not going to give up on this resolution though because I am really excited for what is to come for my blog this year! Aside from that resolution, I have made all of the other, typical ones…get in shape, eat healthy, finish this renovation already… 🙂
Anyway, since the renovation is about 90% finished, we have been hosting at the house non-stop! We had people for Thanksgiving, a mini-housewarming/holiday party and again for New Years Eve! To make things a little easier on ourselves for NYE, we booked an early dinner at one of the yummiest restaurants near our house and then came back to the house for dessert, champs and to watch Mariah bomb her NYE performance (#ripmariah). Since we weren’t really doing anything too over-the-top I decided to keep my outfit simple, classic and relatively warm and comfy!
I wore this super cute cropped sweater and faux leather leggings from StyleWe and paired it with some silver and leopard accents and my one splurge item, these fun Loub booties! We had an absolutely amazing time despite the odd TV entertainment and the fact that none of the confetti poppers that I bought actually worked…sigh.
For those of you who have asked, I am also sporting new lighter and shorter hair and I am loving it!
Check out the details below!

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for stopping by!
