Thanksgiving Tablescape with MacKenzie-Childs

Surprise, we are hosting Thanksgiving again this year, and I am in the process of preparing! Today, I am sharing my Thanksgiving Tablescape with MacKenzie-Childs! If you know anything about MacKenzie-Childs, you probably have seen the iconic black check print, which made them famous. While I love this classic style, I was really excited when I learned that there are so many more styles than I ever could have imagined! From floral prints for Spring and Summer to more modern styles (like I have here), the options are endless! I first learned about MacKenzie-Childs from my mother-in-law, who lives in upstate New York, near where MacKenzie-Childs is headquartered. I am very excited to see what she thinks of the tablescape!

I am nothing if not consistent, and most of my home is decorated in neutrals, with hints of blue. When I saw that MacKenzie-Childs has this sophisticated flatware in midnight blue and white, I couldn’t resist! I layered the white salad plates over the midnight blue dinner plates for a beautiful layered look and I added these natural rattan chargers to add some warmth and texture! I also snagged these gorgeous beaded candleholders because they are unique and unlike anything I own. Finally, what formal dinner occasion is complete without some beautiful candles to set a cozy and warm mood? These candles have a beautiful texture to them and some sparkle!

If any adjectives describe my style, it would be sophisticated and modern. I love those traditional details that give a space and sophisticated edge, but also those clean lines that keep things modern and fresh. When I saw the Soho line of dishes, I knew that I have found the perfect mix of sophisticated and modern for me! I love the stately color scheme, the bold and crisp colors, the subtle texture, but also the hint of traditional with the black check band!

No Fall tablescape would be complete without some accessories! Here, I dressed the table with faux leaves in a beautiful deep orange color, added some plush and hard pumpkins, some acorns, antlers and even a big wood-carved turkey! I also love the texture that the rattan chargers add, keeping the tablescape very natural!
