Cozy Home Office

Today, I wanted to re-share a space in our house that I absolutely love! Eric and I are both still working from home, so it was important to us that we each had a dedicated office space. My office is downstairs and this room is actually Eric’s office. Since he is a “map guy”, he is a GIS Engineer, finding this gorgeous wooden map from Enjoy the Wood was such a treat! Check out this blog post for details on our initial set up of this map! Overall though, I feel like this made for a very Cozy Home Office!

The 3D map that we got (see details below) is a beautiful and classic dark walnut, which looks perfect in contrast to our light walls and decor. Enjoy the Wood has other map colors and configurations that are even bolder, including their 3D colored map, which has vibrant color combinations that are just stunning! Our specific map did not include Antarctica, but it did include a compass, ocean labels and a few little cute airplane and boat cutouts. We decided not to add those to the map because we felt it would be a bit too busy, but I definitely think they would look really great in the larger map configurations! We were also given state and country pins. We’ve had this map up for almost a year now and we haven’t had any issues with each of the pieces staying affixed to the wall! Overall, we absolutely love this piece of art – a definite conversation starter!
