It feel like it was just yesterday that we were planning our Baby Gender Reveal. I can’t believe that we are already at a point that I am sharing our Winter Wonderland Baby Shower! As you may recall, our pregnancy and fertility story is not an easy one. We went through a lot to get to where we are today, but we couldn’t be happier that we are set to meet Baby Lawler in about 5 weeks! Since we are due at the end of February, we threw a winter wonderland themed baby shower at the very beginning of January. We were nervous that people might be sick after the holidays or that the weather wouldn’t cooperate, but we got away unscathed on both fronts!
We chose a beautiful event space venue only a few minutes from our house and they really helped to facilitate a wonderful and beautiful experience for us! From delicious food to fancy cocktails (and mocktails) to beautiful water views, we couldn’t have asked for anything more for this wonderfully special day!

FAVORS
Going along the same lines as the winter wonderland theme, I thought that these cute little individual hot chocolate jars were the perfect party favors! I was able to customize the labels and then came with hot chocolate powder and marshmallows already packaged up! I also customized these themed signs to really bring together the different areas!
GAMES
We also had a few fun games planned. I’m not usually a traditionalist when it comes to shower games, but it ended up being really fun and we had some nice prizes for everyone! If you need ideas for games, we went with “Guess How Many Snowflakes are in the Jar”, “Would She Rather” and then “Guess Who: Mom or Dad”!
DESSERTS
For the desserts, I used the same local bakery that we used for our Gender Reveal. They absolutely killed it with the winter wonderland cake, which was lemon cake and frosting on the top layer and Chocolate and Cannoli cream on the bottom layer! They also created these beautifully customized flooded cookies. My fav dessert will always be a macaron and these were absolutely TO DIE FOR, especially the raspberry ones!

BALLOON ARCH
These days, what party would be complete without a balloon arch?! For our gender reveal, we actually DIY’d our balloon arch, but I mentioned that it was a lot of work and I didn’t think I could/would do it again. Well, true to my word, I ended up using a friend who has a balloon and event company! She killed it with this white, dusty blue and gold themed arch that I thought perfectly fit our winter wonderland theme! Luckily, I already had the gold hoop and the Oh Baby sign, so we just added those for the overall look we were going for!

TABLESCAPE
For the most part, the tables and settings were put together and provided by the venue. I added the table numbers, florals, menu’s and table confetti. Overall, I thought everything came out really beautiful. Similar to the gender reveal party, my MIL put together the table centerpieces using my own vases and flowers freshly purchased from Trader Joe’s the day before. We probably saved at least 50% by doing it ourselves!
BALLOON WALL
In addition to the balloon arch, I wanted a more minimalistic balloon wall behind where Eric and I would be opening presents. I love how it came out with the balloons and the neon sign!
