Foundation – Day 1

After one week of construction delays (and countless delays with the permit process) we have finally started our renovation! Even today, our team of construction workers were delayed getting to the house because they had a surprise inspection this morning. When the guys finally did arrive, they worked on removing the remainder of the back patio and started digging what I like to call the “hole-shaped hole”.

At the end of Day 1, this is what the back of the house looks like!

We are hoping to have the foundation dug and poured by the end of the week, so stay tuned!
